Matthew John Meehan

Matthew John Meehan, 31, of Montclair, formerly of Sparta passed away on November 6, 2010 in Montclair. Matthew was born in Newton and lived in Sparta, NJ until moving to Montclair 3 years ago. He was a 1997 graduate of Pope John XXlll High School in Sparta. He was a 2001 graduate of the University of Richmond where he received his bachelor’s degree in marketing. Matthew worked as a coordinator for Rapid Transport in Jersey City. He is predeceased by his beloved mother Lillian Meehan and stepmother Denise Meehan. Matthew is survived by his loving father John, stepmother Tracy; devoted brother Mark and loving sister Caitlin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins and friends. Friends may call Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. A funeral mass will be held at 11am Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave., Sparta.
