Mary Ann Kelly, of Lake Mohawk, passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. She was 75 years young.
Mary Ann was born on September 3, 1947 and was one of five children to bless the Kelly family. She was raised and educated in Queens, NY. She went on to become a trailblazer in the computer industry. Mary Ann especially loved being with her children and grandchildren. She worked hard to give her daughters a beautiful life and instill in them the values she held so dear: faith, family and education.
Mary Ann enjoyed the finer things in life. You could find her enjoying a great bottle of wine with friends on the beach at sunset .These times were treasured and always spent with dear friends. Mary Ann had the unique ability to make every person she met feel as though they were her best friend. She truly cared deeply for everyone she knew and loved. She has more lasting friendships than most could wish for. She embodied all that is beautiful. Her nurturing heart and playful spirit will be treasured and missed.
Mary Ann had a deep faith. She prayed each morning and made sure to tell you that “your guardian angels will take care of everything”. Certainly, her prayers helped her through many difficult times. As a breast cancer survivor and with every loss of a loved one, Mary Ann always kept her faith.
Above everything in this world, Mary Ann adored her grandchildren. We know she will continue to watch over them in her newest role of Guardian Angel.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughters Kelly Merlino and Tracey Gosser (Scott); grandchildren Kathryn Bozzo (Nick), Patrick Lew (fiancé Julia), Max Merlino, Alexandra Gosser, Louis Merlino and Ryder Merlino and great grandson Rawlins Bozzo, her siblings Joseph Kelly (Jane) and Patricia Sornberger (Peter); her dear friends Ann Gunn, Henry Seelbinder and her Yayas and many more lifelong friends and relatives.
She was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Gertrude Kelly, brother Michael Kelly and sister Theresa Meli (Charlie) and her beloved son-in-law Eugene Merlino.
