Happy Birthday and Happy first anniversary in heaven Mom. Your smile is missed everyday! 

 God love you Anita. You said it all with most deserving words and with a sincere show of love for your mom, my sister.  The best years of my life was spending time with her.  We were known as ‘The Sisters’ at the Sparta Woman’s Club and  knitting.  We had a blast when together or on the phone. My love for you…my tears for missing you will continue until I’m with you Lou. My immediate family was quite small. With no first cousins and only a sister, we spent a lot of time with my grandparents. Grandma’s sister, Great Aunt Louise, always included us in her family gatherings. And those gatherings, with her children and grandchildren, are some of my most precious memories. And that included having them to our home for Thanksgiving and other holidays and parties. A favorite memory is Cousin “Aunt” Lulu arriving with huge trays of lasagna. I loved nothing more than being a part of this great big Czech Italian family! When I moved away and would come to see Aunt Louise when back East, Aunt Lulu always made sure she was there to see me, too. And in the last few years we developed a special bond over our mutual interest in genealogy and all those that came before us. She was so much like her mom. One of the sweetest, most loving people I’ve ever known,  and I will miss her dearly.  

I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet Louise and only wish it hadn't taken so long to find each other. May Cousin Louise rest in the sweetest peace until we all meet again.

This beautiful woman spent her birthday at home with us then later in the evening during a wild storm, a lightening bolt hit our home, shook and lit up the house and in that very moment the sky opened up to take her into heaven. It was a biblical experience. She soared straight to heaven with angels at her side to meet with Jesus and my Dad.  Anyone who knew Mom knew what a devoted, caring, loving and compassionate human she was. She lived for her family and friends. She was so simple. Material matters meant nothing to her. All she needed was to be surrounded by everyone’s love. She was the person who never missed a party and most of them she hosted in order to keep everyone together. She was an unbelievable cook and growing up we always had an open table capable of adding a chair anytime for every friend who arrived. My children were enriched with that same love as they grew up in our home with her 
and received all of that same love and attention . She continued giving us all that same love warmth everyday of her life. No words can express her loss. My heart is broken and my world will never be the same without my best friend and loving Mother at my side. Your pain and suffering is now over and you can comfortably rest knowing you did everything for all of us to make us feel so very rich in life. Your sparkle will never ever leave us. We are all so fortunate to have had such a Mom and Nana. Thank you for everything you did for all of us. Godspeed Mom until we are together again. Your loving daughter, Anita XO
