Karl H. Mallasch

Karl H. Mallasch, 71, passed away on February 9, 2017. Karl was born in Grossdabrau, Germany and was to the United States in 1956. He was a resident of Sparta, New Jersey for 51 years. Karl was a proud member of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He worked as a machinist at Emtek in Newton retiring in 2007. Karl tinkered with woodworking with his wife and was an avid Giants football fan. Karl is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Margaret (Basili) Mallasch; devoted father of: Corinne Engelhart and her husband Shawn of Green Township, New Jersey and Mark Mallasch and his wife Kelli of Elizabethton, Tennessee. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Erik, Victoria, Morgan and Lauren and his sister Gerda Lee.
