Frank Pellicani, age 66, of Sparta, NJ went home to be with the Lord on December 30th, 2024. Born in Newark, NJ to the late Vincent and Anna (Netta) Pellicani, Frank lived a life filled with love, generosity, and dedication to his family, friends, faith, and fellowship.
Frank was the owner and operator of the BP station in West Orange, NJ for over 30 years before retiring in 2024. He grew up in West Orange and resided in Mine Hill before making Sparta his home in 1991.
Known for his unwavering faith, Frank was a generous man who gave unconditional love and mentorship to many. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, always busting chops to brighten the lives of those around him.
Frank was a food enthusiast, particularly fond of steak, burgers, pizza, hard pretzels, and Diet Pepsi. Frank embraced life fully whether spending time with family, skiing, snowmobiling, coaching softball, going for a drive, sitting on his back deck, drinking coffee, feeding the birds, or talking with friends. He also had a deep love for Christian music, Rock, and the weather.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Kathy Manger Pellicani; his children Kristie, Frankie, and Vincenzo Pellicani (Melanie) and his cherished grandchildren Sienna and Luca. He also leaves behind his sister Rosanne Amendola his brother-in-law Joseph Tuzzolo his cousin Mary Ann Selpe ( John ) and his nieces and nephew Dana, Laura, Gina and Kimberley, and Michael. He is predeceased by his sister Mary Ellen Tuzzolo and his nephews Anthony and John.
Funeral services will be held on Monday January 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Sparta Evangelical Church, 385 Houses Corner Road, Sparta, NJ 07871, followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:PM at the Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NMDP.org ( Be the match)
