Dorothy Ann Brown

Dorothy Ann Brown, 88, of Sparta, NJ passed away on March 4, 2018. Dorothy was born in Weehawken, NJ and was a resident of Sparta for 60 years. She was a former member of the Lake Mohawk Golf Club and was a member of the Lake Mohawk Country Club and Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta. Dorothy loved gardening but loved being with family and friends the most. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent in 2013. Dorothy is survived by her devoted children: Vincent Brown and his wife Sally of Colorado and Tim Brown of Sparta; sister Peggy Walsh of Andover, NJ and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be held at 10am Saturday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery.
