I have many brief memories as I was the youngest. It was unfortunate that as our parents got older us cousins David, Diane and Myself lost contact. I still remember her visiting and staying with us in Ohio when she was a teen and our trips to New Jersey with Grandma Marie and later without. My Mom Shirley passed away just last weekend a few weeks before we had just been reminiscing and looking at photos about our New Jersey family.

Dear Peter, and the Prelich, Diaz and Busciglio Families,

My deepest condolences go out to each and every one of you for this incredible loss.  Barbara was a beautiful soul inside and out.  She loved and spoke of you all so often.

Barbara truly knew how to love and how to share her beautiful presence with all who were fortunate enough to come in contact with her.  She and I met while working at Harbor House/St. Joseph's Hospital many years ago.  Needless to say, we became fast, lifelong friends.     

Barbara was the kind of person you didn't want to let go of.  She wouldn't let you if she loved you anyway.  She loved deeply, completely, and truly unconditionally.  

Barbara faced many challenges throughout her years and she did so with unbelievable grace and  an incredibly loving family by her side.  She counted her blessings when it came to her family.  

Barbara is an inspiration to us all to live life fully; to love completely and choose to be happy because it really is a choice.

I love you, Barbara!  I will continue to carry you in my heart all the days of my life.  Your imprint is fully defined there.  I am so very blessed that you chose to share a part of your beautiful life with me.

My sincere condolences to Peter, Lisa, Angela, Lorenzo, their spouses and her beautiful grandchildren.  Barbara spoke of you all often.  You  all were  her pride and joy!!  I had the pleasure to work with Barbara and we remained friends years after we no longer worked together.   She was so dedicated to her family, friends and her work.  She never forgot a birthday!!!  I will miss her smile, her sense of humor and her stories.    I too, loved to see her drive that little red sports car.  It was bright and shined boldly just like she did.  She will continue to shine in my heart.  Barbara has brightened and touched so many lives.  I will miss you my friend!!!

Peter, Angela, Lisa and Enzo....I am sending you hugs in this time of sorrow....Barbara loved you all so much. And I am deeply saddened, that we won't get to talk, share the good and bad, and just be there for each other....even though the past few years I have moved out of state we have kept in touch....My plan for this year was to go up to NJ and visit friends and family...COVID took care of that idea...we missed our window of time....
Barbara and I met sooo many years ago, working at Hackensack Hospital We hit it off from the beginning...I remember coming down to Lodi and eating liverwurst sandwiches while pregnant and then when Matt was a infant, and Angela just a toddler....and drinking coffee, laughing, and just having a wonderful time with our children... our families enlarging, Mine referring to her as Aunt Barbara....Us sharing the good and the bad times in our lives...always there for each other even though we didn't live physically next door..
   A beloved priest I know talks about when he passes, that he will be sitting on a curb, up it heaven with family and friends and enjoying their company again...I like that thought and have the same wish...that someday we will meet all the people again that we knew and loved....

My condolences to Peter, the 3 children and their families...and all of Barbara's family members. Including the dogs. I worked with Barbara for years and had the best of times. Her office was always the "go to" office!! Barbara had us to the house for dinner, we had met for lunches...boy could we talk. My heart breaks for this very profound loss of such a loving and caring woman. Prayers for all of you.
