Patricia Harriet Young, 89, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, beloved mother of Jaye Young Esq., Los Angeles, CA, and Dr. Joy Young-Ramsaran and her husband, Dr. Christopher Ramsaran - the son she never had, of Weston, FL, beloved grandmother of their daughters - Christie Ramsaran (husband, Brendan Krimsky) and Dr. Leah Ramsaran (fiancé, Dr. Xavier Benjamin), and widow of Ernest Leon Young, of Orlando, FL and Jamaica, W.I., traveled peacefully on March 4, 2024, surrounded by love. Pat was a teacher of teachers in Jamaica, and of elementary school kids in Milwaukee, WI and Orlando, a world traveler, lover of art (esp. the art of the real estate deal), creativity, flea markets and life. She loves, inspires and is loved by, countless students, relatives, family, ( including the Landry's, the Coulon's and Aunt Lula Ishem, age 104!) friends and loved ones in New Orleans, Milwaukee, Jamaica, Orlando and S. Florida. We will celebrate the pure love and joy of Pat Young’s life at:

A visitation and service on Friday, March 15, 2024, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapels, 21100 West Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33332, and live-streamed on Zoom for those who cannot attend in person.

Patricia Young’s graveside burial service is on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL.
