Emily Harriet Bertisch

Emily was born in New York, to Henry and Claire Scadron, where she met the love of her life Morton. Together they had two daughters Jaymi ( Ken) and Lesli (Micheal). After moving to Florida, Emily worked for the Rabbis of Temple Beth Shalom on Miami Beach. She loved her career and her association with the congregation. After retiring she moved to North Carolina where she loved her friends, and active lifestyle. She was blessed with four grandchildren: Jeff (Lindsay), Jess (Alex), Brad and Allie. She was adored by her great-grandchildren Victoria, Mason, Austin and Noah. Family meant everything to Emily. She will surely be missed by family and friends alike.

A memorial service for Emily will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapels, 21100 West Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33332.

Due to Covid concerns, there will be no events following the memorial service.
