David H. Farkas, age 85, died on April 6th, 2022. He was married to his wife Sandy for 63 years. They had two sons, Barry (Marianna) and Daniel (Karyn) and five grandchildren he adored – Justin, Steven, Ryan, Talia & Kasey. They never ended a conversation without saying “I love you.”
He was a CPA and Financial Director at Miami Jewish Home & Hospital and also served on the Board of Jewish Family Service.
He was born and raised in Chicago and the family moved to Florida in 1971, settling in Plantation in 1973. He served in the Army National Guard of Illinois for three years working as a firefighter.
He was laid to rest at Menorah Gardens Chapel on Sunday, April 10th, 2022.
