Stanley Fred Miller

Mr. Miller was born December 30, 1932, son of the late Harold Miller and Mary Theresa DePuy Miller. He joined the National Guard and served for 15 years. Mr. Miller retired from NJ Bell/Verizon in 1986 and relocated to Southport in 1998. He enjoyed fishing, swimming in the ocean, and loved the NY Giants football team.

Survivors include his loving wife Joan Kirchhoff Miller of St. James; children, Marianne Vogt and husband Bill of Bolivia, Mark Miller and wife Angela of Arizona, and Matt and wife Gayle of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Dan, Chris, Adam, John, Allyson, and Kevin; and six great grandchildren, Gavin, Cole, Paige, Major, Elle, and Navy.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Reverend Trent Watts officiating. Inurnment will take place in the church columbarium.
