Robin was born December 2, 1960, in Southport, North Carolina, daughter of Oscar Lloyd Williams and Bertha Louise Orvin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Alan Lloyd Williams, and twin brother Robert “Dean” Williams.
She lived in Brunswick County her entire life and attended South Brunswick High School. She married her son's father, Eddie Gamble at an early age. He died tragically soon thereafter. She started dating her husband Donnie in 1990 and worked alongside him for over 27 years as a carpenter in residential construction.
When she wasn't working she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her “grandbabies”. Some of her hobbies included hunting with her husband, collecting knickknacks, sunbathing, and socializing with her seemingly endless amount of friends. She also had a passion for music. With her generosity and compassion she personified the expression “A friend in need was a friend indeed”. She had a radiant smile that preceded her and arms built for hugging. She never met a stranger and loved her friends and family wholeheartedly.
Surviving is her husband Donnie Ratcliffe, son Raymond Gamble, daughter Megan and her husband Zachary Collier, step-son Donnie Jr. and his wife Jessica Ratcliffe. She was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren Lexi and Genevieve Collier, and Reese and Owen Ratcliffe.
