Robert Leo "Rob" Landkamer

Rob was born February 14, 1941, son of the late Donald and Margery "Lizzie" Landkamer in Mankato Minnesota. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served in Vietnam. Mr. Landkamer was a naval aviator and later became a commercial airline pilot. He retired as a Captain having worked for Northwest and later Delta Airlines. Rob was an avid duck hunter, a golfer, and recreational boater.

Mr. Landkamer is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ina Landkamer; two daughters, Robin Alexandra Boone and Courtney Landkamer Roy and her husband Chris Roy; five grandchildren, Reece Boisvert and his wife Amber, Cassidy Boone and her partner Stu, Connor Roy, Marley Boone, and Sydney Roy; two great-grandsons, Wakelan and Lane Boisvert; two sisters, Carol Landkamer and her husband Warren Berg, and Jean Tagatz; and two brothers, Tom Landkamer and his wife Mary, and Steve Landkamer and wife Sharon. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Scott Donald Landkamer.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in August.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St Jude's Children’s Hospital.
