Renee was born on June 8, 1966 in Columbia, South Carolina. Her and her family later moved to Southport, North Carolina.
Renee graduated with an associate's degree in nursing at Brunswick Community College. Her compassion and big heart carried out that career for thirty plus years in different nursing homes that later lead her to In Home Healthcare. She loved her job in nursing and taking care of people. She took a step back from nursing not long ago to help in a family restaurant that she found new and exciting. She loved fishing, hanging with her family, and taking long walks with her dog. She was a gypsy at heart that wanted to travel the world.
Renee is preceded in death by husband, Ernest Creech; step father, Dewy Hewett; grandmother and grandfather, Margaret and Albert Mathews; grandfather, Stavros Chrysostomides; aunt and uncle, Al and Ginger Murphy Gross; nephew, Jeffrey Chrysostomides; along with some of her cousins.
Renee is survived by her parents, Andy and June Chrysostomides of Columbia SC; her children, Anthony "Tony" Creech; daughter, Alicia Chrysostomides Andrews; son-in-law, Clay Andrews; stepdaughters, Winter and Alexis Creech; partner, Marty Doak; grandchildren, Greenly Andrews, Keely Andrews, Quincy Holmes; great grandchild, Kaliyah Randolph; and animal child, Ms. Piggy; sisters, Arlene Caroon (husband Ezra), Georgia Chrysostomides (husband, James Reynolds), Athena Moore; brothers, Stavros Chrysostomides (wife Ashlyn Chrysostomides), brother-in-laws, Cleveland Creech and Curtis Creech; sister-in-law, Veronica and Richard Stidham; many Nieces and Nephews, Misty Chrysostomides, Andrea Chrysostomides, Olivia Draughon, Brandon Wilcox (partner Marissa), Raven Warren (husband Bo), Jessica Caroon (partner Hunter Manis), Ricky Stidham, Cassie Pryor (husband Dylan), Jessica McCracken (husband, Andrew), Joshua Creech, Lily-Grace, and Wesley Chrysostomides, great nieces and nephews Connor, Emma, Mason, Wyatt, Chance, Jariyah, Maddox, Stormy, Lori, Dominic, Sophia, Kingston; many other loved ones and many friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Jaycee Building, 309 Fodale Ave, Southport NC on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 between 5pm-7pm.
