Mrs. Otis was born December 2, 1934 in Trenton, NJ to the late John and Marie Phillips. She was a Dosher Hospital Volunteer, and volunteered with the Boiling Spring Lakes Fire Department for several years. Mrs. Otis enjoyed her time volunteering with the hospital as well as the Dosher Flea Market.
Survivors include her daughter Shelley Gyselinck and husband Lee of Southport; a son John Otis and wife Diane of Levittown, PA; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Otis, and two sisters, Joan Pukenas, and Kathleen Wagner.
A memorial service will be private for the family.
