Mrs. Benton was born July 23, 1944, daughter of the late Richard and Marie Pritchard.
Survivors include four children, Sharon Stewart, Sandy McCrea and husband Jim, Ricky Benton and husband George, and Rodney Benton and wife Wynette; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Goff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Benton, Sr.; a son, Bobby Ray Benton, Jr.; a grandson, Christopher McCrea; a son-in-law, Jeff Stewart; and a sister, Faye Sullivan.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Town Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Fairfax officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will have visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.
