She was born on June 12, 1952 to the late Carl Brown and Janice Harvel Brown in New Hanover county, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Rudisill.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 51 years, Michael Braswell; son, George Braswell (wife, Ashley); sisters, Pam Vinson and Amy North (husband, Clint); grandchildren, Marley, Aila, and Nash; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport with Rev. Thanh N. Nguyen officiating with a private entombment following.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass from 10AM to 11AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A reception for friends and family will immediately follow the Mass at Sacred Heart in the Social Hall of the church.
