Janet T. Currie, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully at her home after a recent illness in Bolivia, NC. She was 71 years old. Janet, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland was married to Norman J. Currie, who preceded her, and had three children. Janet was a long time resident of North Carolina where she lived with her daughter Lori and son-in-law James. In the end, Janet passed away in the company of her family and her dog Bear curled up beside her.
Janet is survived by her children; Deborah, of Matthews, NC, Lori, of Bolivia, NC, Norman of Sykesville, MD, and her granddaughters; Victoria, Hillary, Jordan, and Sydney.
Janet will be laid to rest with her husband Norman in Baltimore, MD and the family requests in lieu of flowers that donations may be made in Janet’s memory to the Brunswick County Hospice.
Rest in peace Mom.
