Harold Douglas "Trey" Morrison III

Trey was born December 18, 1973 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, son of Doug Morrison and Dawn Stephenson Morrison. Trey loved his family, his whole circle. He loved anything related to the water, fishing, swimming, boating, skiing, knee boarding, tubing, and jet skiing. Trey will be remembered by his bigger than life love and compassion for others. As well as for his humor and an infectious laugh.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his adored daughter, Alyssa Marie Morrison, the light of his life; a sister, Cindy Galloway and husband Gary; two nieces, Lindsey Galloway and Kacey Galloway Gore and husband Kevin; two great-nieces, Hazel and Hattie Gore; and two aunts, Barbara Edwards and Barbara Morrison.

A celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 30, 2023 in the Peacock - Newnam White Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Generations Church, Celebrate Recovery, 4019 Executive Park Blvd SE, Southport, NC 28461.
