Previously she had worked at South Brunswick Middle and South Brunswick High School. She was of the Baptist faith. She had many hobbies including crocheting and antiquing, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family and dear friends.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Victor Sullivan; two children, Vicki Bishop and John Sullivan; two grandchildren, Megan Payne and husband Troy, and John Sullivan, Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Kinley Payne; and a brother, Lester Gornto, Jr.
