Debra Ann Andrews

Debra Ann Andrews, age 62, of Thomasville, formerly of Bolivia, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina after a sudden illness.

Debra was born in Davidson County, North Carolina. She loved music, coloring, dancing, and interacting with family and friends. Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Dayton and Peggy Andrews of Bolivia and two brothers, Paul Andrews and Larry Andrews, both of Southport.

Survivors include her sister, Sharon Hicks and husband Junior of Thomasville who took care of Debra; special sister-in-law, Christy Andrews of Bolivia; four nephews, Ricky Hicks of Thomasville, Cory Hicks of Lexington, Derick and Clay Andrews of Southport; three great nephews, Brandon Hicks of Clemmons, Cameron Hicks of Lexington, and Trenton Andrews of Southport; five great nieces, Courtney Hicks of Lexington, Keely Andrews of Southport, Greenly Andrews of Southport, Morgan Andrews of Southport, and Amira Andrews of Southport.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, January 1, 2018 at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Cape Fear Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service in Southport.
