David was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jonathan David; his mother, Diana G. Fox; and his stepfather, William A. Fox.
He is survived by his wife, Carmela Sherry Hammond, and his two siblings, Susan D. Fox and Allan D. Fox. David also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Jenna R. Westbrook, Rachel D. Smith, Bryan W. Smith, and Thomas A. Fox.
David earned a BA from William Paterson University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He enjoyed a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry, culminating in his role as Vice President of Sales for Knipper Health. Known for his unwavering work ethic and leadership, he gained the admiration and respect of his colleagues and clients alike.
Since childhood, David had a passion for the television industry and once aspired to work in that field. Although his career path led him elsewhere, he became a knowledgeable TV historian, often sharing captivating stories and insights.
He loved meeting new people and possessed a genuine curiosity about them. From a restaurant server to colleagues at work to lifelong friends, he was admired for his remarkable ability to connect with others and inspire confidence and optimism. His warmth and gifted sense of humor further endeared him to those who knew him. He also enjoyed golf, motorcycling, and tennis—hobbies that reflected his active and adventurous spirit.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
