Carolyn Holden

Carol was born June 14, 1945, daughter of the late Angus and Margaret Ahn Johnson. She was very passionate about volunteering wherever she lived, including tutoring underprivileged children and serving in a food kitchen. Carol had a very outgoing personality, loved life, and enjoyed socializing with her many friends in the community. Her hobbies included playing bridge and participating in water aerobics. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of almost 50 years, Randall Holden of St. James; children, Janet Margaret Wehrle of Leonia, New Jersey and Geoffrey Randall Holden of Irmo, South Carolina; sister, Susanne Senna of Valrico, Florida; five grandchildren that brought so much joy to her life, Elliot, Gabriel, Nate, Cassia, and Adalie.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00pm Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service with Reverend Amanda McCullough officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the funeral home.
