Brenda was born in Broadway, NC to Isabell and Pete Womack on July 5, 1947. She married Bruce Schell and shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. Her passion was elementary education and taught for 22 years. Brenda enjoyed golfing, shopping, and socializing with her friends at Oak Island Golf Club.
Brenda is survived by her husband, George Bruce Schell, Jr.; two daughters, Brandy and Toni Schell; brother, Roger Womack; niece, Kristin Womack; and nephew, Kevin Womack.
A celebration of life will be held at Oak Island Golf Club from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Monday, October 2, 2023.
