I have just learned of Brenda’s passing, and I am saddened that this side of Paradise has lost such a fine lady. Brenda was a beautiful lady who stood proudly to her height and shared that marvelous smile  easily and freely. I am sad for my friend, Bruce, and their girls. I have no doubt that Brenda left a huge void in their lives and I pray that the memories that make them sad now will soon make them smile.

I had subbed for Mrs. Shell at Peterson Elementary for two years. She was a joy to work with.

 Our memories of Brenda will always live on, as she was the funniest, craziest and most loving person we have ever met.   We will miss her so much.

Brenda oh how you will be missed. I thank God for allowing you to enter my life during our careers at Peterson Elementary.  You were so full of love and life. I'll forever hold you in my heart. Rest easy my friend!

The world has lost a beautiful lady!  Brenda and I lived in Red Springs in the early years of our marriage and we both had two daughters around the same age.  Our paths would cross from time-to-time as we reared our girls and we would share experiences as only proud mothers do.  Brenda loved her family and she loved teaching!  She was wonderful at both and her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of the children she touched.  Each of us can only hope that we make the kind of difference Brenda made in this world.  I was so blessed to have known her!

The Lord will provide peace and comfort for Bruce, Toni, and Brandy.  Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days ahead.

To all of Brenda's family:  Please know that all of you are in my prayers for God's Comfort and Peace these trying days at the loss of Brenda.  Brenda was in my Class of 1966 at Broadway School. She was  a very dear Classmate and friend. Always had a smile on her face and always had kind words to all  she met along her life's road. She had a beautiful soul inside and outside. I know all of you will miss her each and every day. May God always be with all of you!! Sending lots of hugs and love to all !!

Coach and Roger——-so sorry to hear about Brenda.  She was quite a fan of ours during our high school basketball and baseball days.  She was always nice to me.
