Walter Joseph Kleszcz, Jr., 80, of Murrells Inlet, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born in November 09, 1935 in Meriden, CT, son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Majkowski.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Walter Joseph Kleszcz, III and two brothers, Robert and Dennis Kleszcz.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Cichon Kleszcz; two sons, Michael Kleszcz (Linda) and Bruce Kleszcz both of Southington, CT; one daughter, Patricia Perrotti (Mark) of Southington, CT; one brother, Edward (Linda) Kleszcz of Meriden, CT; one sister, Sharon Delafumara of Meriden, CT; eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday, April 16th at noon at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Flanders St., Southington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion, Kiltonic Post 72, 66 Main St., Southington, CT 06489. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting the family with the arrangements.
