Robert L. Van Epps

He was born January 5, 1937 in Rochester, NY and was the son of the late Walter L. and Dorothy (Hollebrandt) Van Epps.

Robert proudly served his country in the U.S Navy. He retired from Tollman Spring Company after many years of service as a tool and die maker. He was a Boy Scout leader with Troop 17-Southington and a longtime volunteer with the Southington Soccer Club.

In addition to his wife Rita he leaves his two sons, Scott Van Epps and wife Virginia of Cheshire and Bryan Van Epps and partner Kimberly Burns of Meriden; a brother, Douglas Van Epps of Palm Bay, FL; four grandchildren, Mikaela Van Epps, Rylee Van Epps, Bennett Radshaw and William Radshaw along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson Garrett L. Van Epps and two sisters, Margaret Correnti and Beverly Alexander.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville for a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
