Paul Papa

Paul was born on April 11, 1949, son of the late Vincent and Rose (Nicholas) Papa. He lived in Lebanon area for over 25 years. Paul was in charge of maintenance at the Hebron and Gilead Elementary Schools for over 18 years. While working there he was a mentor to many of the children. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He also supported his fellow veterans through the Disabled American Veteran’s Association.

Paul is survived by his three children, Jason Papa, Priscilla Papa, and Ashley Papa, a sister Marie Parrott and her husband James of Bristol, nieces Kimberly Parrott and Stacy and husband Brian Marinaro, and a great niece Jacquelyn Parrott.

Funeral services with military honors will be held Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at 5pm at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 - 5 pm.
