Patricia M. Kelly

She was born on Feb. 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Philip and Bessie (Nickerson) Mescall. Mrs. Kelly was a former resident of Largo, FL and Southington. She had worked for Critikon Inc. for 22 years. She was a talented seamstress and had made many outfits for her family and she was famous for her baby blankets. She loved bingo and recently enjoyed painting.

She is survived by her children, Michael and wife Ruth Kelly of Groton, MA, Patricia and husband Gene Raffile of Rockfall, Deborah Kelly of Tolland, Penny Kelly of Norwalk, Kathleen and husband Tim Brown of Highland, MD and Alison and husband Robert Knybel of Tolland, her grandchildren, Brian and Jennifer Kelly, Neil and Nicole Kelly, Tracy and Bob Barton, Kelly Opotzner, Devin and Alex Volage, Kara Brown, Ryan Brown and Molly Knybel and 4 great-grandchildren, Edward, Catherine, Jack and Benjamin Kelly. She is also survived by a sister Thelma McMann of Vero Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 9-11 am.
