Patricia Griffin

She was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Crow) Griffin, she was one of nine siblings. She graduated in 1951 from Southington High School and was a cheerleader at SHS and was an art editor and on many other activities. Patricia ran Griffin Realtors for over 5 decades and was a member of the Central Connecticut Board of Realtors, served as its president and was named Realtor of the Year in 1997. She lived in Plantsville for many years in a house she renovated and decorated with her innate artistic flair. Patricia was also active in the Southington Community Theater.

She leaves a son Jeffrey Adams of Southington and she was predeceased by her two children, Meghan and Jason. In addition to her son she is survived by four brothers, Gerald J. Griffin, of Griffin Construction, of Wallingford, Robert R. Griffin of Illinois, Paul T. Griffin of Nashua, NH and Francis Griffin of Hobe Sound, FL and two sisters, Jane Griffin of Glen Cove, LI and Kathleen Griffin of Wallingford.

She was predeceased by one brother, George and a sister Maura.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 12:00 noon at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. All are invited to gather at 11:30 am to offer condolences.
