Patricia Gress

Born in South Ozone Park, NY on March 17, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Mary (Foley) Hoops. She was a retired employee of Scovill Manufacturing Co. She lived at the ?Honeymoon Block? in Waterbury before moving to Wolcott in 1955. She was a member of the Evergreen Club at Waterbury Hospital and the Wolcott Grange. She always had a fondness for animals and would feed many that came to her door.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother Christopher Hoops. She leaves several generations of nieces and nephews in New York and CT. Pat?s family would like to thank the staff at Wolcott View Manor for truly putting their hearts into the care that they provided.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM at St. Pius X Church in Wolcott. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott.
