Lorraine Elizabeth Armstrong, 71, of Southington, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her closest friends and her loving four legged companions. Lorraine was born in Portchester, NY on January 22, 1953, a daughter of the late Frank and Beri (Vanir) Harris. She was the beloved wife of the late William Armstrong.
Lorraine was meticulous and appreciated fine clothing and accessories. She believed in always looking her best! Lorraine had a great sense of humor and knew her own mind.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter Pauline Buckley of TN., brother Ronald Glennon of VT., longtime friends Jeanne Seymour of Guilford, VT., and Karen Bobik who stayed by her side along with her furry four-legged companions Lola and DD.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, June 14th at 1pm at the Faith Living Church, 20 Grove Street, Plantsville. An ice cream social will follow in the church hall. Lorraine loved ice cream and wanted to make sure to share it with those she loved!
Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
