She was born in Torrington, Connecticut but managed a nomadic life between other wonderful homes in Meriden and Southington, Connecticut, and in many towns in Florida and the USA. For those who new Lisa, it comes as no surprise that she lived a very happy and robust life. Her pursuits of dancing, motorcycles, singing, and extraordinary fashion led to undeniable laughter and fun to everyone near her, wherever she travelled.
Although a cliché, she absolutely lived life to its fullest and filled her friends with amazing joy!
Lisa is survived by her loving sister and brothers, Diane Cook of Virginia, Glenn Ford of California and Todd Ford of Connecticut, her adoring children, Derisa Welch of Florida and Nathan Ford of Tennessee, and seven amazing grandchildren, Hannah Tuttle, Noah Tuttle, Isabella Tuttle, Evan Tuttle, Nevaeh Tuttle, Jonah Tuttle and Hallow Tuttle, and one great-grandson Samuel Tata. She is preceded by her mother Shirley, and brothers, Randy and Jeffery.
A memorial service in her honor is planned at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington on Friday April 22nd, from 4-7 PM
