Kurt Charles Buell

Kurt Charles Buell, 73, of the Milldale section of Southington passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at MidState Medical Center, Meriden surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Judith (Whipple) Buell for 41 years.

Born September 15, 1949 in New Britain he was the son of the late Hubert and Lillian (Helm) Buell.

In addition to his wife he leaves his four children, Sarah Buell and Jason Lizotte of Center Ossipee, NH, Gary Buell and Stephanie “Mousey” of Milldale, Melissa Beaulieu of Titusville, FL and Cindy Syphers of New Britain; seven grandchildren, Keith, Nicholas, William, Heather, Haylee, Amy and Jaylynn; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Olivia, Emily and Owen; his sister, Sheila Valentukonis and husband Thomas of Daniel Island, SC, his cousin and best friend Skip Kensel of Plainville.

Kurt enjoyed tending to his garden, fishing and socializing with his friends but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Services for Kurt will be private. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
