James R. Covaleski

Born in Bennigton, VT on July 19, 1941, the son of the late John and Charlotte (Coonradt) Covaleski. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Freihofer Bakery in Naugatuck.

In addition to his wife he leaves his three loving daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and John Ahern of Wallingford, Paula and Kevin Brown and Laura and Bryon Brelsford all of Bristol, a sister Betty Pascal of New Britain, seven cherished grandchildren, Collin, Kaitlin, and Megan Ahern, Christopher and Andrew Brown, Sarah and Matthew Brelsford, several nieces, nephews and many special and close friends. He was predeceased by three brothers, Leo, John and David Covaleski, and a sister Edna Sharp.

The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Bee St. in Meriden. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
