"Hollywood Bob"

He was born in Waterbury on April 18, 1943 son of the late Paul Plourde and Yvonne (Bossie)(Plourde)Giustiniani. He was a US Navy veteran. Bob loved to garden and had a great love for animals but his greatest passion was the Dallas Cowboys. He even dedicated one of the rooms in his home to them.

Besides his wife he is survived by a son Robert G. Plourde Jr. and wife Elizabeth, a daughter Tracey Plourde Lee, a brother Donald Giustiniani of Boca Raton,FL, sisters Sandra Plourde Alfonso, Josie Plourde, Sandra Giustiniani McQuade and husband John, and Jeni Plourde Violette, four grandchildren Stevie, Brian, Robert III, and Brittney, along with an aunt, an uncle, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 785 Highland Ave., Waterbury. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Sunday from 3:30 to 6:30 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral, 690 Woodtick Road in Wolcott.
