Gary R. England

Gary R. England, 52, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 at Bristol Hospital surrounded by his loving family, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of

Alison R. Nied- England.

Gary was born in Bristol on Nov. 27, 1962, the son of the late Richard and Jeannine (LeBeau) England. He was a crane operator for Walker Crane and Rigging Corp in Plainville for 27 years. He was a 1981 graduate of Wolcott High School. Gary loved his work and loved to fish and hunt he was a member of the Bristol Fish & Game for over 25 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by brothers Bruce and wife Mary England of Wolcott, Douglas and wife Mickey England of Bethlehem and a sister Janet England of Helena, AL. He also leaves a sister-in-law Carol Cmiel of Wolcott and 2 nephews Brian and Michael England. He was predeceased by a brother Jeffrey England and his ever faithful German short-hair pointer "Hunter"who is patiently waiting for him.

Gary will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
