David Richard Gauthier

Born in Waterbury on February 23, 1952, he was the son of the late William and Joan (Mercier) Gauthier. He was raised in Wolcott and on September 24, 1988 he married his "sand box buddy" Sandra Bellemare.

David was very proud to have served in the US Marine Corp. during the Vietnam Era. He was employed by Greer Manufacturing and previously by Superior Electric for more than twenty years.

Besides his wife David is survived by his two sons, Michael and Kevin Gauthier both of FL, his brothers, Ken and his wife Gail Gauthier also of FL, William and wife Robin Gauthier, Raymond Gauthier all of Waterbury, two sisters, Joan and her husband Peter Petruzzi of Thomaston, Mary Willette of Prospect, his uncles, Richard Gauthier, Fran Mercier, his Aunt Shirley Miglorisi and her husband Ed. He also had several grandchildren, a great grandson and several generations of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Nancy McKennerney, two brothers Gary Gauthier and David’s twin brother Doug Gauthier.

. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday 10 AM at The Shrine of St. Anne 515 S. Main St. in Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church. Burial with full military honors will follow in Woodtick Cemetery in Wolcott. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott.
