Cynthia Ellyn Makula

She was born on May 15, 1956 in East Hartford, the daughter of the late John and Wanda (Godlewski) Makula. She graduated from East Hartford High School and was a secretary at Aetna Insurance for many years.

Cindy worked at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain. She loved camping with her friends, knitting, riding her bike, and being disappointed by horror movies; but most of all she valued spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was a member of the Plantsville Congregational Church.

She is survived by two sons Joshua M. Makula of Bristol and Eliot L. Wilber of New Hartford, and two grandchildren, Gabby and Brady. She also leaves her sister Carol Lynn Fredericks of AR and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers, John and Raymond Makula.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 12 noon-1 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm.
