Christopher was well loved and respected by his friends. He had great character and a big heart. I will never forget the fond memories I have of him. He was one of the funniest people to be around. He was able to effortlessly make everyone have a good time.

I met Chris during my freshman year in high school. Sitting at the same table during lunch for 4 years and traveling to various locations such as the Washington DC and Boston trips brought us really close as friends. Through Chris, I truly learned the values of kindness, acceptance, and sincerity. His infectious smile and positive attitude always brightened my mood and he would always challenge me to do and be better every day. 

Chris always strived to make the lives of the people surrounding him more engaging and joyful. To this day, I follow his method of properly eating a Nature Valley crunchy granola bar without having to make a mess (break the bars first into four smaller pieces and then open the wrapper for no spilled crumbs). Some of my favorite moments with him was trying seaweed for the first time during International night and harmonizing to Bruno Mars songs during science lab and on the bus. His passion for origami and learning about different cultures was extremely admirable and amusing to watch. Also, Chris singing Bollywood songs and pronouncing most of the words in Hindi fluently made me realize how accepting and loving he was.

To the Loring family, please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of a beautiful son and loving brother. My heart breaks for you. I pray for your strength and hope you find comfort in knowing how many lives Chris has touched and made better. I will never forget him.

My deepest condolences to Chris’s family. Chris was one of my closest friends in high school and we stayed in touch at UCONN. We shared the struggles of our engineering classes and shared the great memories we made in high school. Chris knew how to cheer me up, when something was wrong or when I just needed someone to be there for me. He taught me how to eat Goldfish properly and brightened the room with his contagious laughs, illuminating smiles and his warm kindness. He will forever be remembered, lots of love and Rest In Peace my friend.

My deepest condolences to all of Chris' family and friends. He touched so many people, always without any expectations of a return. 

I distinctly remember the first time I met Chris on the fifth floor of our college freshman dorm. Coincidentally running into each other by the elevators, we realized we were in the same chemistry class, and quickly shared a laugh about the course. He then asked me if I wanted to attend lecture together and be lab partners. 

Little did he know, his simple invite meant a lot to me. I knew few people at the time, and his friendly, inclusive attitude taught me that just a couple words separate friends from strangers. It demonstrated the essence of how the little things can go a long way, and the uplifting impact extending a hand can have on others.

Through the rest of our interactions in college, he never strayed from this demeanor. That's just who he was. Moments with Chris were happy, exciting, caring, and always shared, never exclusive. I am so heartwarmed to have made new, recent memories this year. 

I will always remember our car ride back from Boston  bumping Juice Wrld's most recent album. Legends Never Die.

I met Chris at camp Woodstock a few years ago at a time in my life where I did not have much direction, and being thrown into a new environment i did not have many friends. Chris was one of the first people to stick a hand out to me and make an effort to bring me into a community that i had no idea about. Chris always had a bright smile on his face and was never negative.  He took each day as a blessing and faced the world with one big smile. 

I had the gift of knowing Chris through our time at UConn, and have nothing but smiles and memories of laughter to accompany my time in getting to know him. Chris and I always had an ongoing joke that his massive furball of a friend was "my dog", and every time I saw him at school, even if in passing, I would ask him "How's my dog?" and he would laugh and respond that "Your dog is good"

My thoughts and prayers rest with Chris' family at this time, hoping they find comfort in the amazing human being that was lucky enough to bless all of our lives, even when taken too soon.

We are so incredibly saddened to hear this news and are sending our condolences to Chris’ friends and family members. We worked with Chris as an Honors student at UConn and we are grateful for the time and skills he shared with us; others have posted about his origami skills in particular and we also have warm memories of creations he made and left us with. Sending our condolences to all of Chris’ family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.

Chris was my CIT in cabin 8 at Camp Woodstock years ago and was one of the most caring counselors I’ve ever had. Once cut my knee badly on a rock and he carried me halfway across camp so I didn’t have to try and walk on it.  Was a great guy and always put others first. Rest easy Chris.

Chris and I lived in Shippee our freshman year of college. He was my boyfriend’s roommate, but to me, he was much more than that. Chris was one of the most caring and charismatic people I have ever met. We would always laugh and joke around with each and and even had a special greeting for whenever we saw each other. I remember he had the idea to put on my boyfriend’s clothes and scare him when he came out of the shower. I still remember how hilarious we thought it was coming up with the idea and executing it.

To the Loring family, I send my deepest condolences. Chris was a lovely person and has changed my life forever. I cannot imagine what you are going through and I hope through the strength of God that you are able to heal from this tragedy.

Chris and I met our freshman year of college and since then, we have shared many fond memories together. I will always remember our sushi adventures with each other when we indulge in all you can eat sushi at his favorite sushi restaurant Sushi Palace. He would order endless plates of salmon and sushi rolls. He always finished his portion of the orders. I, on the other hand, overestimate my abilities.  We were down to the last 6 pieces of sushi and Chris had to go to the bathroom. When he left, he his plate was empty. When he came back, I snook my remaining sushi on to his plate. However, I was not that sneaky and my plan to have him finish my sushi had failed. Since then, Chris always recalled the time when I tried to “sneak sushi onto his plate thinking that he would not see it.” 

We shared many fond memories with each other, all of which I hold near and dear to my heart. Many of which pertain to food and learning about new cultures. 

My deepest condolences to Chris’s family and friends. Chris was loved by many and loved them all equally back. 

I remember when Chris would get on the bus in the morning especially in the winter and just play with the puff ball on my beanie.  The bus rides with him were always fun, he was a role model for me. From when I was in 8-9th grade and he would beat a game I couldn’t, and how fascinated he was with my art especially the ones I would make on the bus ride home. I wish things were different, I miss you Chris. I hope for the best with his family at this time of grief.

Chris was my sophomore year roommate in college and a friend since my freshman year. He was always a kind and thoughtful person, always making sure that his friends were happy and doing well. 

I will always have fond memories of late night deep conversations with Chris in our dorm room, playing ping pong in the game room, and our numerous trips to get sushi together. I will miss you Chris. 

To the Loring family, my deepest condolences. Chris often talked about his family, especially his younger brother. He was always extremely proud of his accomplishments, telling me about his achievements academically and on the hockey rink. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. 



Chris was one of the kindest people I've ever met. He always had a smile and was always willing to strike up a conversation or just hang out.  Chris and I met freshman year at UConn as we both ended up on the 5th floor in Shippee Hall. I have many fond memories with Chris, but one that stands out in particular is him sharing his vinyl collection and record player in his dorm room. For a while, we just enjoyed the music as Chris played songs by artists like Bon Jovi and more. I think that really shows who Chris was: he always found a way to make people around him smile.

My deepest condolences to Chris' family and friends. You are all in my thoughts. 

Although I never met Chris, I felt that I got to know him since Erin and I work close by and shared so many stories about our children over the years.  I remember vividly through her stories how proud she was of him, the young man he became, and all of his accomplishments.  My heart is breaking for Erin and her family.

I worked at camp with Chris and we were co-staff together in a cabin for 2 weeks. Chris was the best co-staff I ever had because of how caring he was towards the kids and also because he was so easy to work with and so eager to learn about being a better counselor. No one ever had anything negative to say about Chris. Once he and I had to clean up after a camper wet the bed. Although it was 3am, Chris brought a smile to my face and we laughed ourselves through the night. 

Like everyone, I’m struggling to find my words. I’m devastated for the Loring family; their pain must be immeasurable. 

I taught Chris in AP Lit, at AAE. By the end of senior year, that room seemed like home to so many. Chris was our guaranteed smile, the big brother to some, little brother to others, always making the room better simply by his presence. Chris was the epitome of a kind, genuine, young man- a perfect mix of warmth and grit. 

My former AP Lit kids probably remember our absurd Festivus parties where I promised that, “everybody gets to leave equally disappointed,” by my dollar store gifts. I look back at the happiness on so many faces in this picture and am comforted by the fact that Chris was front and center with the biggest smile in the room. 

I hope the Loring family finds some comfort in how many lives Chris touched.

Chris would always reach out to me and cheer me up when I wasn't feeling my best. We had grown apart as the years after our graduation passed, but he would still check up on me from time to time. He was kind and spread happiness wherever he went, and his warmth and love will be missed deeply. 

I am so sorry to learn of your great loss. I worked at AAE, and although I did not have many interactions with Chris, his warmth and smile resonate so strongly. May your hearts know how much so many people felt his kindness, even those, like myself, in the far reaching places.

Chris and I first met through UConn’s Husky for a Day Program. He’d just been accepted into  UConn’s School of Engineering for Biomedical Engineering as an Honors and STEM Scholar. Of all prospective students I have hosted, Chris was the most enthusiastic about coming to UConn. When I had Chris sit through my CSE lecture that day, he was already participating in class despite being a visitor and was even answering the clicker questions correctly. He was so intelligent and outgoing.

Chris could be found helping others all over campus whether it was at the CT Science Olympiad Tournament, Covenant Soup Kitchen or even in BME lab, where he’d stay late to help his classmates wrap up. Whenever I ran into Chris on campus he’d always greet me with an infectious smile and never hesitated to ask me how things were going. I will always cherish the memories we made together. 

My condolences go out to his friends and family during this difficult time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Chris and I became friends his junior year of high school. He encouraged me to push limits and take courses outside of my comfort zone. He was a mentor even though he wouldn’t call himself that. He was someone I could always go to and out a smile on my face. 
Over time he became one of my favorite faces and people. He had such a warm heart and friendly spirit. After he graduated we kept in contact and he even gave me a tour of UCONN when I was thinking of attending. I wish we spoke more but time got away from us. 

We have known Chris as our son's friend and classmate. Always cheerful, fun-loving, calm and with a smile, Chris made a memorable impression in every small interaction.   Like many, we are in disbelief, shaken and deeply saddened to hear this loss.

Chris and I shared an hour bus ride home everyday for 3 years. Chris, Emily, and I formed an alliance called Back of the Bus Crew, where we spent the entire hour joking around and bothering one another. He was an amazing man, he was kind, generous, and thoughtful. For Emily and Is 16 birthday party he made us each custom handmade geometric shapes after asking us what our favorite colors were. This loss hit hard for us as the world won’t be the same without his kind soul. 

Chris and I became friends our junior year of high school but it felt as though we had been friends for way longer. From the very first day I met Chris, he was friendly, caring and so free-spirited. We quickly became close friends and he was someone I could always count on — whenever I needed help on a homework assignment, Chris helped me, with an immense amount of patience. Whenever I needed a good laugh, Chris was there to crack jokes. Whenever I needed a pep talk, Chris always had the right things to say. He turned my worst days into some of my best days. 

Often times, it is hard for high schoolers to feel like they “belong”, but Chris made everyone feel welcome. He was honestly one of the most genuine people. Like so many, Chris has had such a positive impact on my life and was a huge part of making high school an enjoyable experience for me. It was an honor and privilege to know Chris — I will never forget his infectious smile or contagious laugh. He will be missed by all and forgotten by none. Rest In Peace, Christopher. We miss you already.

Chris was one of my students in AP World History and Sociology at AAE. He was always kind, generous, funny, and an obviously wonderful friend to those around him. AP World is a beast of a course, and he always brought such great levity into the room, helping to ease the struggles of a truly demanding class. His depiction of Al Capone for our historical figures dinner party was absolutely amazing. 

I will always remember our debates about who would win in an Alien vs. Predator fight (I’m still convinced it will always be the Aliens) and his steadfast support of the “Darth JarJar” theory. The picture he made for me of Darth JarJar fighting off a group of Aliens is one of my favorite gifts that I’ve ever received as a teacher, and I will always display it with great love in my classroom. He made me smile every day, and I will miss him terribly.

i truthfully cannot put my feelings into words, because something like this breaks my heart so deeply. chris was one of my closest friends since i met him in the 7th grade. going into middle school, i did not have many friends. at lunch on the first day i sat alone, that is until chris invited me to sit at his lunch table. he introduced me to jeremy and louie, and the rest is history. one of my favorite memories of chris is a more recent one; my birthday this past august. he was moving into uconn the day after and he told me he may not be able to make it. but chris really made a point to come and celebrate my birthday with me and my twin brother (picture attached). i am fond of this memory with chris because a memory like this really shows just how much chris cared about everyone close to him and showed a lot about his character. chris was always there for me through my darkest moments, as i struggle with mental health as well. every time that i’d fall down, he’d be there to help pick me right back up. he was one of the positive & resilient people in my life. and that alone, made me inspired by him. he inspired me in so many different ways - to be myself no matter what, to always be kind to others, to be proud of myself in anything i do. i admired so much about him, from his corny dad jokes all the way to his simple authentic self. there is so much that i could say about chris. but all in all, i genuinely feel so blessed to have been able to have chris so near and dear to my heart. i am so thankful i got to grow up with, be friends with, and experience my teenagers years with chris. may he rest in peace with the Lord, and God grant strength to the members of his family. my heartfelt condolences go to the family, & all of those who knew him. God truly calls home the best and most worthy. i love you endlessly chris, i will never forget you & will spend the rest of my life missing you.

I am a student at UConn who did a project with Chris for one of our classes. We only ever spoke over the phone a few times, and texted to coordinate our project work, but I could tell he was a really kind and thoughtful person. He was really interested in making the world a better place. He talked about wanting to be become a detective and I know he would’ve not only become a good detective, but one who really cared about the community he was working in. I initially felt strange writing this because I really didn’t know Chris well at all, but I felt I should, since it was immediately so clear from talking to him what a good person he was. My condolences to his family and loved ones. 

This breaks my heart in so many different ways. I was not very close with Chris, but our high school was small so we knew each other in some capacity. 
He was the kindest, most dedicated, and full of joy. He lit up every class we were in together and I can remember in AP Literature he would always be himself and make everyone else laugh because we all know how that class went, it was tough at times. He was an inspiring guy who put others before himself. Seeing him and his friends interact was so amazing to see because there were never any issues, simply because he was Chris, no one could be mad at him. I am glad I have had the pleasure to graduate with him, witness his growth, and see him do great things after high school through social media. I know his family is proud. 
May he rest with the lord and watch over all those who love and care about him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and just know, he is still the same soul even if he is not with us, kind, joyful, and spreading love. Always.

I went to AAE with Chris. Since we were both from Southington, we had the unique experience of sharing a hometown at AAE.

I had Psych class with Chris and we shared the bus ride home. While there are so many great things about Chris to talk about, I would like to share two. 

First, Chris had a great sense of humor. After a long day at school (AAE had verrrry long days) it was always a relief to hop on the bus and crack jokes with Chris. We had a couple of inside jokes that never got old- the type of inside jokes where I could say two words in any given context and we would both start laughing. He always had this sneaky smile that he would crack right before he said something crazy/ made a funny joke. Chris’ sense of humor was my favorite thing about him. 

Secondly, Chris was a consistently nice person. Chris did not have one mean bone in his body. In my years of knowing him, I did not sense one ounce of jealousy, hatred, greed, or anger from him. Everybody has their nice moments- but Chris was nice with consistency. 

Chris will be missed by so many people. I am happy to say that he has had a positive impact on my life, and I’m sure he has on countless others’ lives as well. I want to send condolences to the family- losing a child is the hardest thing a parent can go through

I truly cannot put my feelings into words. Chris was my right hand man through high school, sharing almost every class, and even being a part of our team at the Odyssey World Finals in Iowa. You couldn't attend AAE and not know Chris. He was the most outgoing and considerate person, no questions asked or no judgement given; a perfect model of what a person should strive to be. I am going to miss you Chris, your smile and energy brought light to so many peoples' lives.

In April of 2018, Chris and I volunteered at Connecticut Science Olympiad. I didn't get the chance to properly meet him then, but I could tell the type of person he was right away. Chris is the kind of guy who always wants to lend a helping hand. He has this innate sense of curiosity and creativity that drove him to excel at everything he did. I had the pleasure of actually meeting him as a resident of H2O, his sophomore year learning community. It was my first year as an RA on the floor, and all I wanted to do was to get to know people and to forge friendships. Chris was immediately open to spending time with me. We occasionally ate together, but we often played ping-pong against one another (those matches were a battle and some of the fondest I have). Chris showed great leadership and camaraderie when he organized an Origami making event. I remember he told me he started doing origami since the 6th grade and I was so impressed. Origami's always interested me but I never thought I could do it, but he taught me and the rest of the floor how to make paper dragons, and boy did they turn out amazing. These are the memories I'll always have of Chris, but I'll also remember the way he made others feel. It was always nice to see him around the floor and on campus, he'd always take the moment to say hi and ask how you are. He's a friend that'll always be there to help, no matter what, and he'll never be forgotten and will live inside us forever. 
Love you Chris, I'll do my best to make you proud my friend, just as I am so proud of you.

Chris was one of the residents on my floor when I was a resident assistant. He always smiled and said hi when he saw me in the dorms, dining hall, gym, etc. I wasn't very close to him but I remember sharing laughs and stories together once when we ate together at the dining hall. I also remember fundraising for HuskyTHON in 2020 and when I was so close to my goal amount, he donated enough money to help me reach it. When I think about Chris, I see a smiling gentle man. Rest in peace.

   There are no words I can say to ease the pain your family is feeling right now.  I just know that you were a bright light in this world that should have never been extinguished so soon.  I was so proud of you and honored to be your teacher. You were such a joy to me! One of my  best students who not only cared about me and his fellow students but would do anything to help anyone. You lifted me up everyday and kept the positive energy going in the room even when we had difficult days. The years we had at AAE together were a gift and I will never forget you or your kindness. Your friends loved you Chris and so did I.  I hope you rest in peace with the angels. We will all miss you.

Chris and I were very good friends throughout all of high school. We would have several classes together, and he would always help me out with our biology classes, and took time to explain homework and go over tests with me, even if he didn't have that much time. 
Chris was one of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever met. He was selfless, generous, and just a really fun person to be around. He was there for me when I was going through a rough time in high school, and I knew I could always go to him for the best advice and if I needed a laugh. Chris was a wonderful part of every one of my high school memories. 
I will miss him greatly, and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. 

I knew Chris since the first day he came to AAE high school. We sat at the same lunch table and we’ve been friends ever since. We had all the same classes together in high school and even got nicknamed Chris^2. We broke room escape records together, went to the Big E every year, and ended up at the same college. Chris was one of those people who, if you got to know him, was a truly loyal and caring guy. He was by my side through my growth and during some of my worst moments, and whenever I was around him he gave me the strength to be my best self. He was the person who would care when no one else would. I’m glad he was able to be my friend for the time we had together.

Our family was so saddened to hear the news a few minutes ago.  I cannot imagine the grief you must be feeling to lose your son. We loved Chris and enjoyed chatting with Jameson and him throughout their years at Aerospace. Chris was my friend in high school and throughout the first year of college. After that we drifted away but we always stayed in touch here and there. I remember he would come to my dads restaurant and order the chicken over rice and then tell me how amazing it is. 

Chris was a caring friend and wasn’t afraid to speak the truth. He was loving, kind and gave off beautiful energy to those around him. 

I’ve shared memories with him and was supposed to meet with him over the summer. But God has his ways and I hope he is in a better place than he is now.  I couldn’t imagine what you are going through but all I can say is that your son was a wonderful human and I hope that are able to recover from this and come out stronger than before ❤️

After speaking to one of your son’s friends at UConn, Christopher was loved. And will be missed greatly. May perpetual light shine upon him.
