Carol M. Roberts

She was born October 6, 1937 in Meriden and was the daughter of the late Donald and Alice (Calabrese) Mitchell.

Carol was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was an avid BINGO player and really enjoyed the friends she made at the villages.

She is survived by her children, Scott Plunske of Cape Coral, FL, Todd Plunske of Ft. White, FL, Darrell Plunske of Lake City, FL, Karen Carabetta of Cape Coral, FL, Brenda Janazzo of Plymouth and Susan Lippia of Killingworth; nine grandchildren, Kelly Beth Johnson, Craig Hunter, Lee Hunter, Tabitha Plunske, Kristen Plunske, Jessica Plunske, Michelle Pompei, Jay Janazzo and Weston Lippia and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, Donald Mitchell and Doug Mitchell of W. Hartford. Carol’s family would like to thank all the staff at the Villages of Kensington Place for their caring and professionalism in making our mother comfortable in her final years.

A memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 121 Pleasant St., Southington.
