

Born on June 20, 1946, in Flumeri, Italy, he was the son of the late Angelo and Helen Lanza Silano.
Anthony spent the first ten years of his life in Italy before immigrating to America, after landing at Ellis Island. From a young age, Anthony was a hard worker and a very generous soul. He started working on a bread truck at the age of 10 to help his family in their new country. He went on to enlist in the United States Army and fought in Vietnam until his first twins were born. Proudly becoming a United States citizen during the Bicentennial in 1976, Anthony embodied the American Dream. He never said no to someone in need, giving to those who asked, and his home was always open to others.
In addition to his wife Aurora, and their children Jeffrey and Demi. He is also survived by his former wife Patricia and children Chrissy (Martin), Lorrie, Toni-Marie (Kenneth), and Angelo. Anthony was a cherished brother to Giovanni “John” Silano, Pasquale (Francine) Silano, and Peter Silano. He was the adoring grandfather of six grandchildren: Sarah (Derek), Jacob, Evan, Andrew, and Patrice, and Carson. Anthony is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Anthony was predeceased, by his twin children, Anthony Angelo and Elaina Marie and his sister-in-law Marie Silano.
