Anthony was born on November 4, 1930 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to the late Manuel and Amelia (Carrera) Caselas. He resided in Waterbury for most of his life and was self-employed owning several businesses. Anthony enjoyed sports, current events, working out at the YMCA and being outside, taking much pride in working on his property. Having to be on his own at a young age provided him with much knowledge and wisdom of many subjects, he was always willing to share common sense advice and help anyone in need. He cherished his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Anthony is survived by three children, son Ronald (Sheila) and grandson Anthony, son Michael (Vicky) and grandchildren Isabella and Nicholas, and son Steven (Diana). He was preceded in death by his sister Louise Andolina.
A visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 10 AM to 11 AM at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Street, Southington. A funeral service will occur at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Anthony's memory to the St. Vincent DePaul Mission of Waterbury at www.svdpmission.org.
