She graduated from Central Connecticut University in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in Social Work.
Ann worked as a Resource Coordinator at the Center for Healthy Aging at Midstate Medical Center. She was actively involved in crafting, music, ice skating and shopping with family and friends.
Ann leaves behind her parents Richard Locke and Ruth Kaleta Locke from Stafford Springs, Connecticut. Her siblings include her two sisters Susan Locke and Sally Locke Woods, and brother Christopher Locke.
She is survived by her spouse Michael F. Hebert and sons Michael Rene Hebert and Mathieu Ryan Hebert of Meriden. Ann also loved her cat Sox. Ann was also beloved by her nieces and nephews Jessie McHeffey, Nicole Osborne, the late Erica Hebert, Megan Hebert Werner, Kianna Woods, Devon Woods, Benjamin Locke and Cameron Locke.
The family would like to thank Dr. Lele and the Oncology team at Midstate Medical Center, Hartford Hospice at Home staff, her colleagues at Hartford Hospital and the Center for Healthy Aging. We would also like to thank her lifelong friends and our neighbors for their love and support during her illness.
Ann was a loving mother, parent and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington,Southington on September 2nd at 11am.
