Our beloved mother and grandmother, Adeline Cianci (96) from Southington, CT, was given her angel wings and went home to be with the Lord and Blessed Mother on June 1, 2024. Adeline was born in New Haven, CT, on October 26, 1927, to Thomas and Mary (Kroll) Talarczyk. She was the last living member of her immediate family, predeceased by her loving husband Michael Cianci and adored siblings – Catherine Kuczynski (sister), and Joseph, Peter, Stanley, John and Frank Talarczyk (brothers). We know she will be happy to be reunited with her loved ones in heaven.
She is survived by her most precious gifts, son Paul Cianci (Sue), daughter Susan Cianci (Billy Corazzo) granddaughter Ashley Cianci, grandson Ryan Cianci (Shannen) along with many dear nieces and nephews.
Adeline took great pleasure in traveling, especially when it included spending quality time with her grandchildren Ashley and Ryan. Over the last 25 years, her “happy place” was in Newport, RI, where she most enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water, with a book in her hand and the reflection of the ocean in her eyes. Then after sunset she was ready to try her luck on the slot machines at the local casino. She was also an avid Bingo player at the VFW in Plainville where she maintained vibrant lifelong friendships.
Adeline’s greatest joys were her family and profound Christian faith. As a faithful follower, she was a dedicated member of Immaculate Conception Church in Southington for over 60 years.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses and Nurse Techs on 3N at Bradley Memorial Hospital (HOCC) in Southington, and for the wonderful care provided by the Hartford Healthcare Hospice Nurses and staff. The genuine kindness and compassion offered by all care providers was sincerely appreciated by the entire family.
A memorial mass for Adeline will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church located at 130 Summer Street Southington, CT. Her burial will immediately follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, Adeline would prefer donations be made in her memory to The Shrine of the Lourdes in Litchfield P.O. Box 667 Litchfield, CT 06759 or Bread for Life 31 Vermont Avenue Southington, CT 06489.
