Noah S “Noby” Hershman passed away peacefully in his sleep to be with his Lord on Saturday October 16, 2010. He was 21 years of age. Born in Meadowbrook, he was a lifelong resident of Huntingdon Valley. Noby was thoughtful, kind, helpful, gentle and strong. He will be remembered and missed forever by all who knew him.
Noah was a student at Bucks County Community College. He was a graduate of William Tennent High School Class of 2008. Noah was an avid reader and artist. He interests included psychology, world religions and politics. He loved the beaches in California and Sea Isle City, NJ.
Noah was the greatly loved and cherished son of Ellis Wm. and Anna Marie (nee Getty) Hershman of Huntingdon Valley. He was the beloved little brother of Joscelyn Newell of Philadelphia, Matthew (Felicia) Hershman of Flowertown, and Janessa Hershman of Hollywood, FL. He was the loving uncle of Miana Chael. He was the grandson of Margaret MacArthur who affectingly called him “Captain Noah”, Marie Getty and the late Chick Getty, and the late Tillie and Richard Hershman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service 6 PM on Thursday October 21, 2010 at the Evangelical Chapel, 21 Beechwood Dr. (at County Line Rd), Huntingdon Valley. The family will observe Shiva on Saturday after sunset at their residence in Huntingdon Valley.
In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the City of Refuge, 606 2nd Street Pike # C, Southampton, PA 18966.
