Nancy was born in Northeast Philadelphia on January 5th, 1955. She graduated from William Tennant High School (class of 1973) and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree from Delaware Valley College and a Masters Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Nancy was married to Albert Tucker on July 18, 1987; they were married for 33 years.
Nancy worked for over 20 years as a computer systems validation analyst at a company that she founded called Validation Associates. She enjoyed golf and was an active member at the Bucks Club in Jamison, Pennsylvania, and at Bear Trap Dunes in Ocean View, Delaware. She also loved travelling, metal detecting, touring and snorkeling.
Nancy was actively involved in fundraising for breast cancer awareness through the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and the Dune Pinks Classic annual golf tournament. She recently became active in Gilda’s Club in Bucks County, PA.
Nancy is survived by her spouse, Albert Tucker, her sister, Barbara Gillander and her husband Robert, her nephews Christopher and his wife Sarah, Erik, and Justin, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Gallo (Twist) and her father, Thomas Gallo.
A memorial service will be held for Nancy sometime in future when it is safer for groups of people to gather together to celebrate her wonderful life.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Gilda’s Club, Bucks County.
