A long time resident of Huntingdon Valley, Kathleen was born on January 6, 1934 in Philadelphia, to parents, Francis and Kathryn Kleinz.
Kathleen was a Sunday School teacher at Hatboro Baptist Church for several years. She was an animal lover, having lovingly owned several pets over her long life. As the matriarch of the family, she was kind and selfless, giving everything she could for her family. Kathleen will be fiercely missed by many.
Kathleen was preceded in death by parents Francis and Kathryn Kleinz, and daughter Kimberly Schmidt.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband George Schmidt, two sons Kevin Schmidt and Dale Schmidt, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, April 7, 2023 at 9:30am, at Hatboro Baptist Church, 32 N York Rd, Hatboro, PA 19040, followed by a Memorial service at 10am, and interment at the church cemetery.
