He was a long time resident of Churchville, PA. Jack was born on October 20, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, John S. Rink and Christina C. Rink (nee Schumann). He graduated from Cheltenham High School in 1954. He continued his education, graduating from Philadelphia College of the Bible with a degree in Pastoral Studies. Jack went on to establish a career as a Pastor. In total he pastored 8 churches before he retired. Jack dedicated his life to serving the Lord and sharing the gospel with everyone he met. He loved well and he was well loved; he had a true pastor’s heart. Jack loved to read and spend time in God’s word. In his younger years he enjoyed swimming, scuba diving and snow skiing. He loved his country and was a true patriot.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 63 years, Joan M. Rink (nee Breuninger).
Jack is survived by his children John R. Rink Jr. (Susan), Joan C. Campbell (Robert), 5 grandchildren; Alyssa Casper (Ian), Christina Fisher (Ryan), Devon Rink, Benjamin Rink and Zachary Campbell and 2 great grandchildren, Oliver Casper and Jesse Fisher.
A viewing is scheduled for March 8th at 11:00 am, at Davisville Church, 325 Street Road Southampton PA, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon, and interment at 1:30 pm at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA.
