He was a long-time resident of Southampton, Pennsylvania. Harry was born on October 3, 1937 in Philadelphia to parents William Margerison Felton and Myrtle Belle Uetz. He was a proud graduate of Central Bucks High School and Penn State University. Harry went on to establish a career as a technical writer and later served as the postmaster at Penn State Abington. He was very proud to work for his Alma Mater and was beloved by the students and staff he met on campus.
Harry was a selfless, loyal man who always put the needs of others before him. This was evidenced by the amazing care he provided his parents and the thirty plus years he took care of his beloved Mom.
He was an avid collector of movies and records and had a great appreciation for music. Harry was a talented pianist and enjoyed sharing his gift on Sundays playing for his church. He loved sports, especially Penn State football and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Harry had a strong Christian faith and was very involved with the United Methodist Church of Huntingdon Valley.
Harry was preceded in death by his father William Margerison Felton, his mother Myrtle Belle Uetz, and his brother Rex Alan Felton, Sr.
He is survived by his brother William Felton, Jr. of Lubbock, Texas as well as his nephews Erik Felton, Rex Felton, Jr., Scott Felton, and Chris Felton and nieces Jennifer Terry and Tara Garcia.
A celebration of life will be held in Harry’s honor at the United Methodist Church of Huntingdon Valley at a date and time still to be determined.
