Gail T. Brunt, (nee McGee), of Warminster, PA, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2023 with her only son “Bill” at her side. Bill was very devoted and supportive to her throughout her illness. Gail was born on January 27, 1934 in Williamsport, PA to parents Philip T. McGee and Helen Thomson McGee.
Gail grew up for most of her childhood in Williamsport PA. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1951 and then went on to attend Cedar Crest College. She continued on to Pierce Business School and graduated in 1954. Gail worked for Philco and Budd Co. for several years. She then worked for Centennial School District in the business office for 23 years until her retirement. She was previously a member of Benjamin Rush DAR Chapter.
Gail is survived by her son, John William “Bill” McLarnon and his wife RoseAnne “Roe” M. DeSantes McLarnon of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey; her grandson, John William McLarnon Jr. of New York City; her husband Thomas A. Brunt Jr. and his children, Tracey Brunt and Thomas E. Brunt of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her brother, Glenn T. McGee of Haymarket Virginia, her cousin Dr. Mary Glenn Fowler of Baltimore, Maryland, with whom she was very close and her cousin Judge J. Wesley Oler Jr of Carlisle Pennsylvania as well as nieces, nephews and their families. Also surviving Gail is her lifetime best friend Carol Mueller of Warminster.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Philip T. McGee and William T. McGee and her parents Dr. Phillip T. McGee and Helen Thomson McGee.
Gail loved traveling, and spending time with her family and friends including her lifetime best friend Carol Mueller, as well as other dear friends. Gail especially enjoyed her visits to the family home in La Jose, Pennsylvania and loved to visit there for relaxation as often as she could. She loved her grand-pets and her own devoted canine companion Deano.
A visitation for Gail will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home Inc., 659 Street Road, Southampton, Pennsylvania 18966. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 659 Street Road, Southampton, Pennsylvania 18966. Entombment will then take place Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, Pennsylvania.
